The Ultrasonic level switch RIZUR-900 is an ultrasonic level switch designed for a wide range of industrial liquid control applications. It is made to work in both open and closed tanks, even those under pressure. The switch accurately detects the presence of water, oil, petroleum products, and other fluids by measuring the changes in ultrasonic impulse strength. Its robust design and reliable electronics make it a strong alternative to older level control relays and many expensive foreign products. The unit consists of cast aluminum alloy with an alternative in stainless steel to facilitate durability and stability against tough operating conditions.

The working principle of this switch is both simple and effective. A piezoelectric transducer, mounted close to a 16–20 mm diameter tube sensor, transmits and receives ultrasonic waves. If the sensor is placed in a liquid, the waves are attenuated, and this variation causes the switch to activate. There is also a built-in self-diagnosis feature included that watches over the health of both the electronics and the sensor. A friendly LED indicator on the housing shows the system’s status, while a magnet placed near the control point activates the self-check and adjustment mode. With this system, users can easily change the switch delay, invert the output signal, select sensitivity, and calibrate the dry and wet states.

It offers flexibility and precision in process control. It provides two output signal modes – one with a dual relay (SPDT) and one with a double-pole double-throw (DPDT) configuration – that can be chosen according to the application. The switch can monitor up to eight points of liquid level. It operates reliably even when faced with turbulent flows, foaming, and suspended solids.
