Insulated tubing bundle with an electric tracing RizurPak-E is an electrically traced pre-insulated pipe bundle that is used to maintain the lines free from freezing and achieve the desired temperature on process and impulse lines. The system performs best in applications with continuous temperature regulation, such as sample transport to analyzers and chromatographs. RizurPak-E contains a thermostat heating cable that compensates for temperature fluctuations by modifying heat generation, and thus the system provides optimal and consistent heat supply along the length of tubing.

Constructed from improved materials, RizurPak-E provides stability and durability against environmental exposures. The outer jacket is thermoplastic polyester urethane elastomer, halogen-free, abrasion-resistant, and UV-stable, and remains flexible in sub-zero temperatures. The insulation is non-hygroscopic fiberglass, providing excellent thermal retention with water resistance. Process tubes are also made of materials from stainless steel, copper, to PFA Teflon, fulfilling the different operating requirements.

There are a number of configurations for RizurPak-E for the particular application. Low-temperature units utilize BTV self-regulating heating cables, which can be utilized for temperature maintenance to 37°C and constant exposure up to 65°C. High-temperature units utilize XTV heating cables, which can handle temperatures up to 121°C and constant exposure up to 121°C. For high-temperature applications, special designs utilizing multiple heating tracers can be provided, up to 800°C being maintained.
